So on top of having to teach myself, meetings, calls, I also had meaningless assignments the manager would just create daily. Just overall overwhelming and my mental health took a huge hit. I also was informed that some people who started at the same time as me received a sign on bonus and I did not. I was also told that the reason for such my low salary was because of good company culture. But the expectation was “start my day at 8am and work until all my task are done”.
